Skin Wart

Skin tag surgery is so easy that it can be done at home or in the dermatologist's office. There are, however, dangers involved in surgery - especially if you are going to cut off the tag yourself. Here are a couple of the more important ones to watch out for:

Infection
Infection is the number one danger of any type of surgery. An unsterilized cutting tool, dirty skin or untreated wound can all cause the wound to fester over time. A careless person can overlook these and many other factors that can cause infection. This is why sanitation is one of the most important steps in any situation where the skin will be opened. Sterilize the tools and the skin with some alcohol before cutting off the tag and make sure that the healing wound is regularly cleaned with iodine or peroxide.

Injury
There is a reason you need to have steady hands when doing surgery. This is rarely a problem when a skilled dermatologist does skin tag surgery, but the same thing cannot be said for a normal person doing it at home. Shaking hands, improperly angled cuts, awkward cutting positions and even panic or surprise can cause injury if you are careless.

Regeneration
Skin tags will usually not regenerate, but only if cells causing the tags are cut off completely. This means that you must cut off the tag as close to the skin as possible in order to minimize the risk of regeneration. This does not completely remove the risk of regeneration, though. The cells of some skin tags reach under the skin, meaning that simple surgery will not work unless the cells under the tag are killed as well.

Infection, injury and regeneration are the three most prominent dangers of skin tag surgery. Make sure to factor them into your preparations if you want to avoid these dangers.

Produced by a viral infection of the human papillomavirus (HPV), a wart is a skin condition that many people are experiencing. Most of the time warts are not painful and people usually want to get rid of them because they are not very attractive in appearance.

Although there are a majority of medical treatments available for this skin condition, most people rather use natural methods instead. One effective natural remedy many people have found success with is the duct tape method.

The duct tape cure for warts is effective when performed properly. The first step you need to take is clean the affected area with soap, rinse off, and dry. Now cut a piece of tape that fits the affected area appropriately.

Take a Q tip of the tea tree oil and apply the oil to the wart. The purpose of the tea tree oil is to keep the area sterile. Apply the tape you have already cut and tape it over the affected area.

When you apply the tape to the affected area you should firmly press the edges of the tape to seal off any air from coming in contact with the wart. This is important when using the duct tape cure for warts because you want to create an environment where there is no air for the living virus to survive.

Everyday you should remove the duct tape and rub it lightly with an emery board. Now apply some more tea tree oil to the affected area and a fresh piece of tape.  Online Pharmacy provides the access to health information and prescription medications.

Continue using this duct tape cure for warts until your skin condition is gone. It will usually take up to 8 weeks until the wart is fully removed, but you will start seeing significant improvements before that.
